On April 3rd, 2025, the EWUU Community Day will take place, an inspiring afternoon centered around transdisciplinary collaboration. The event brings together researchers, students, teachers, and support staff from TU/e, WUR, UU, and UMC Utrecht to cross boundaries together.
Programme Highlights
The afternoon will be filled with inspiring discussions, interactive showcases, and networking opportunities. Visitors can explore two main programme tracks: the Marketplace and the programme on the main stage.
The Marketplace features a dynamic showcase of inspiring projects, including unusual collaborations, health solutions, circular innovations, AI-driven impact in care, and innovative educational programmes. Various expertise centres will be present in the fields of:
- Funding & Valorisation – with Research Support Offices from all four institutions
- Science Communication & Societal Impact – including the Wageningen Dialogue Center and NECTR
- Research Design & Methodology – including the Pathways for Sustainability team
The Main Stage programme includes:
- Impact Dialogues featuring groundbreaking research
- Launch of the National Expertise Centre for Transdisciplinarity
- The EWUU Impact Award ceremony
Impact Award and Marketplace Participation
Researchers who are part of an EWUU research team with an idea for a public engagement activity related to their EWUU-funded project can apply for the Impact Award. The winner will receive €3,000 to bring their idea to life.
Additionally, researchers, teachers, and other experts can apply for a stand at the Marketplace to showcase their work, exchange insights, and spark new collaborations.
