Are you part of an EWUU research team with an idea for a public engagement activity related to your EWUU-funded project? This is your chance to make an impact!

How to apply for the Impact Award:

Before applying, please review the criteria, planning, and procedure.

1. Submit your rough idea as soon as possible via the application form below.

2. Get expert guidance from Stephanie Helfferich (Centre for Science and Culture) to fine-tune your concept. You can book a consultation slot via s.helfferich@uu.nl. Available options are:

  • Wednesday 5 March, 10:00 – 12:00
  • Monday 10 March, 10:00 – 12:00
  • Thursday 13 March, 15:00 – 17:00

3. Submit your final proposal (by updating your application form via the confirmation email) by 25 March.

4. Finalists will be notified within a week and invited to present their idea on stage at Community Day.

Important dates:

  • Ongoing: Intake meetings
  • 25 March: Application deadline
  • 25 March – 2 April: Finalists announced
  • 3 April: Impact Award Ceremony at EWUU Community Day
