The alliance organises an annual conference to bring together external stakeholders, staff, students and other target groups to facilitate meetings and exchanges. During the event, we showcase the impact we make with our collaboration.

Conference 2024

We look back on a successful conference Navigating Transitions, which was held on 24 April 2024 at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht. Several sessions and tracks discussed how science and education can contribute to navigating societal transitions in challenging times. In times of increasing socio-economic and ecological challenges, inter-disciplinary research and education can play a central role in finding solutions to these complex problems.

Conference 2023

During our conference Crossing Boundaries for a Healthy and Sustainable Future on 19 April 2023 in Wageningen, we shared our vision of what science can contribute to a healthy planet. Science and technology play a key role in creating the future we want for our planet and its inhabitants. In order to speed up progress we need to join forces.

Conference 2022

Our Conference 2022 focused on the theme of Building the Future Together to explore how we can address societal issues like climate change and major health problems together. It took place in Eindhoven on 19 April 2022.

Conference 2020

On 2 December 2020, the launch of the alliance took place at a major online event Challenging Future Generations. The partner institutions have published a magazine to celebrate this collaboration.

In 2025

In 2025, our conference will take place in Eindhoven.
